I have been a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2006. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Connecticut, and my Master of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Central Connecticut State University. I have experience working with various populations in multiple settings including a sexual assault crisis center, an in-patient drug and alcohol treatment hospital, an outpatient clinic for children, adolescents and families, and a therapeutic group home for children. I have been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist and in private practice since 2009.
I am also a yoga/meditation teacher and hypnotherapist. I incorporate conscious breathing, meditation, mindfulness practices and multi-level processes that engage, inspire, uplift and shift the inner mind in a way that is pleasant, natural, and even fun!
In my personal time, I love being outside with my husband and our two children; hiking and biking local trails, looking for wildlife and exploring nearby lakes and ponds. Some of my favorite ways to relax and restore include reading for pleasure, writing in my journal, and waking up early for a daily restorative yoga and meditation practice. I encourage you to become an expert in what lights you up and helps you soothe!
